Yucca is an extremely resilient plant from the Asparagaceae family. Native to Southern United States, this strong plant can withstand many different conditions and adapt accordingly. With over 50 known varieties the Yucca can be found in a variety of different climates. Their waxy leaves also help prevent water evaporation in dry climates, which is what makes them so easy to care for as they require very little water to survive.

Very bright , indirect light is best for Yucca however they can tolerate some direct light and lower light, although low light will result in slow growth. |

In the growing season water your Yucca once every 10 days (March-September) and once every 20 days in Winter. |

Yucca can survive very dry air in its natural environment, therefore it does not require misting. |

Troubleshooting |
The biggest issue with Yucca is overwatering. Yucca leaves wilting and yellowing may be due to root rot. Remove the soil from the yucca and check its roots. Remove any soft mushy parts and allow both the plant and the soil to dry out before placing back into the pot. To avoid reoccurrence water your yucca less frequently. Brown leaf tips is a sign of underwatering. Water your Yucca more frequently. Brown or black spots on the leaves indicates a pest which you can treat with Neem oil. |
