Our Story

We always have a large selection available and at different times of the year we also stock outdoor plants, trees, hanging baskets, planted containers and gift planters. All of our plants are sourced from specialist growers across Europe and locally in Northern Ireland too. 

We supply made to measure wooden window boxes, planters and also stock a range of indoor/outdoor pots, compost, bark, decorative stones, outdoor living products, and more! All of our products are made, planted and sourced with love. 

Plantila, previously known as "Window Boxes NI" was the casual side hustle/hobby of our founder Ross while he still worked full time. In March 2020 the UK went into national lockdown and this enabled Ross to focus on growing the business. Things went from strength to strength and in June 2021 Ross teamed up with Michael and they became business partners. Ross and Michael previously worked together in retail management. Both left their jobs and in January 2022 Plantila was born. As of May 2022 Michael has retired from the business. The plans for the future include growing the website, develop packaging so Plantila can deliver plants across the UK and perhaps open at further locations... Watch this space!
